My dead parents are everywhere these days

Based on my own experience and conversations with friends and strangers online, I knew there was a need for a website like My Parents Are Dead: What Now? But the reach of the project has been staggering—I never predicted it would take off the way it has. And I certainly didn’t think I’d be asked to write specifically for an audience of funeral industry professionals! But here we are. I also recently had the opportunity to speak about the website at the Louisville iteration of Nerd Nite! You can watch that presentation now on YouTube. The audience really put me through my paces on the Q&A, but I think I nailed it.

Losing my parents has, obviously, sucked. But I’m so glad something good has come out of this mess. Excited to see where the journey takes me next!
